<content type="html">I was willing to forget about the DRM over having a platform where I would have all my games available for download, whenever I wanted. But after knowing about that issue with the currency conversions, I'm reconsidering...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

<content type="html">Well. If you don't like the DRM check the developers website. For instance, World of Goo offers the game completely DRM free, and it's available on Mac OS X too (with Linux coming soon). Others may do too.
Also, even with the discount on steam, I paid 14,82€ (depends on the exchange rate) for World of Goo when I bought it from the developers site, which is a few cents cheaper than on steam, and all that (minus paypal fees) goes to the developers.

Just so you know, World of Goo is great. I highly recommended.
