To read books

10.Jun.2007

I’m trying to gain back my old reading habits. Besides the books I already mentioned and reviewed here on this blog, I’ve already made a small list of books I’m looking forward to have and read. Unlike programming book which I usually don’t read every page and use them more as reference, I tend to read books about subjects I’m interested in from the beginning to the end and even do a little of research on the author and books alike. I’m currently reading What if graphic design for?, a great book on graphic design in general. But here are the 4 books I’m planing to read as soon as I finish that one, by no particular order:

Freakonomics
Freakonomics by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner
The Art Of The Start
The Art Of The Start by Guy Kawasaki
Made To Stick
Made To Stick by Chip and Dan Heath
The Long Tail
The Long Tail by Chris Anderson

I already have a copy of Freakonomics in my bookshelf, the translated version. I usually prefer original versions but I bought it very cheap and saves me the trouble of ordering it online. Although I have already have here enough reading for the hole summer and more, if you would like to suggest interesting book I’m always looking forward to good additions to my list. Check here to keep track of my reading.
