Google Analytics' new version

I hadn’t gone to Google Analytics for some time and I decided to check the stats of this blog. Then I was surprised by a near total redesign of the reports back-end. After reading their blog entry it seems that the new version is quite recent (it was launched on 8th April).

I must say that I really enjoyed this new design. The results seem to appear faster and all the different categories are better structured on the left menu. Now I don’t have to roam through all the options while trying to remember the name of the option I wanted. The new blue dot graphics also helps the experience, with detailed information on each dot. In my opinion, the hole website’s usability has improved and I must say I really like the pastel colors and the general smoothness in all the graphics and images. Guess I have to start checking my stats more often…
