Take Off’s day is coming (next Saturday) and me and my collegue are still dealing with the final preparations. We have a large number of inscriptions and we’re looking for to have the room near full. Now I’m working on the final details of a social application exclusive for the event: Take Off People. We fell that the community gathered around events and all the information generated through communication, specially between attendants, is the most important thing on this kind of events. Not disregarding the talks, the main attraction and for some a great trigger for the communication. The application will enable to share our (everyone attending) information and links so you don’t loose any contact with someone you exchanged words during the event.
I also would like to share two very interesting presentation (brought to me by ruby-pt) about ruby and ruby on rails: The Top 10 Reasons The Ruby Programming Language Sucks and Introduction to Active Record.
