Moo's new NoteCards

19.Apr.2007

I’ve been a great fan of Moo’s products and I already ordered some MiniCards. I really enjoy their simplicity in design and all the attention they give to details. Focusing on less products enables them to deliver a better service too.

Yesterday they’ve released a new product called NoteCards. These square cards (100mm) with a small flap, to help them stay up for presentation, are specially design to replace the common post/greetings cards. The front of the card will have printed your selected images from flickr or from your local computer, while the back may have some lines of text and little badges.

After seeing some pictures of the new product, I can say that they really seem to fit nice on any desk/table. The hole flap thing was a great idea by the moo team. However there’s a little catch: while the MiniCards were delivered on packages of 100 by €14.99, a package with 16 NoteCards (plus an equal number of envelopes) costs €18.99. A bit expensive in my opinion, although they’re selling a unique product. But it seems that this factor will not have a big influence on the new product popularity.
